10. Fearlessness |
1. Rishi Vāmadevar did Tapas in the forest, eating only herbs. One day
Parvati and Paramesvarar appeared before him and asked him, ''What boon
will you like to have?'' The Rishi said, ''I should not die at any
time.'' After conferring
the boon on the Rishi, Parvati and Siva disappeared. |
Having been blessed with the boon, Vāmadeva Rishi lived in a hut on the
banks of the Ganges River. Kāsirājan came to him and requested him to
teach him Ātma Jñāṇam (knowledge of self). |
3. Vāmadevar said to him, ''Always remain fearless. Fearlessness is
Divineness. He who gave up fear will witness God.'' |
4. After listening to the Rishi, Kāsirājan said, Muni! I am already the
Lord of the earth. I have no fear of anything.'' |
5. Vāmadevar: ''You are not what you say you are. Several kings higher
than you live on this earth. If any of them invade your country, you
will tremble with fear. Moreover, you are in fear of your wife,
ministers, servants, subjects, poisonous creatures, and death itself.
Your claim to fearlessness gives me laughter.'' |
6. Kāsirajan: ''Is there a way out of this kind of fear?''
Vāmadevar: '' Hey king, you are an ignoramus.''
Kāsirajan hit the Rishi with his hand.
Vāmadevar: ''Ade Raja! However, many blows you unleash on me, you are an
ignoramus.'' Kāsirajan, in a fit of anger, grabbed the book from the
Rishi and tore it up into pieces. |
7.
Vāmadevar: Ade Raja! You tore up the Vedas. For that infraction, a
divine punishment may be in the offing.
Kāsiraja: ''Hey Vedarishi! God has eyes and does not dispense punishment for the commission of unintentional crimes. I have not seen or read the Vedas. Hitting you was pointless, but not knowing what to do, I hit you in a state of ignorance and rage. God will forgive me. may forgiveness be upon you too.' |
8. Vāmadevar: ''Ade Raja! You are fit to be my pupil. Getting angry is
the quality of a Kshatriya (warrior). That is the Kshatriya Dharma.
Please do not give it up. Let me tell you something else. For us, this
world is like a mustard seed. We stand outside of it and look at it. We
stand equal to God.
cāyucciyam , n. sāyujya. = Equality or intimate union with God) The
Brahmana holds Equality with God. If you maintain this position, good
things will happen to you. This time, We give you refuge. Parvati and
Siva gave me a deathless life. You can partake of the limitless Amirtha.
Hereafter, do not hit Brahmanas in haste. Stay well imbibing the
ambrosia.'' |
11.The Rain |
| 1. The ocean makes the OM sound; the wind blows in circles; a cloud of sand rises; the sky turns dark; the clouds are enveloping; the seaside visitors disperse and go home. |
| 2. Ramarayar, Venu Mudhali, Teacher Brahmaraya Aiyar, a few others, and I were sitting on the beach sand conversing. The lightning intensified. It was around 7 PM. |
3. Aiyar said, "It is time
we all go home." Venu Mudhaliyar sings, The wind is blowing; the ocean is rising Keep your eyes open, Nayaka Drizzle, at the door, the windows Blowing hard into the hall. Ramarayar: ''Poem is fine. But there will not be any rain." Brahma Aiyar: "You want to bet." |
| 4. Ramarayar:" If it rains, I will give you Rs.10.00. There will not be any rain in the next two hours. That is what I am saying. If it does not rain, will you give me Rs.10.00?" |
| 5. Brahma Aiyar said, ''I will.'' Then I felt a drop of rain on my shoulder. I said, "It is raining." Ramarayar said, "There is no rain. 'I said, 'I felt a raindrop on my shoulder." Ramarayar: "It is the drop blown from the ocean wave. It is not a rainfall." I just kept quiet. |
6. Bramaraya Aiyar felt a
drop of rain on him and claimed it must have the drop from the ocean
wave. Ramarayar said, "This too must have come for the ocean wave. Brahmaraya Aiyar: "How do you know?" By this time, the raindrops fell on the heads of all the people. I said, '' Ramarayar lost the bet.'' Ramarayar insisted and said, "No. I never said that a drizzle is impossible. For two hours, we can remain here. I insist that it will not rain at all." The clouds rolled in and darkened the sky, moving like an elephant overhead. The sky darkened further with no rain. The drizzle fizzled out, and the darkness deepened. |
7. I rose as I said, "Whether it rains or not, we should leave here."
Ramarayar said, "You go first. Brahmaraya Aiyar and I will leave a
little while later." Venu Mudaliar and I left the beach. The rest were watching beachball play. We might have walked one hundred feet, and the drizzle intensified into the rain. We ran and took shelter in the Customs Office. The rain became a downpour. Ramarayar, Brahmaraya Aiyar, and others ran so hard that they shook their entrails. They reached us. Venu Mudaliar and I were wet. Others were as wet as the soaking pickles. There was a roaring rain with thunder and lightning of many formations. As the lightning flashed and blinded us for the moment. The thunder was out of the world and was like the roaring and throaty rumble of Brahmaraya Aiyar. The raised platform – Thinnai- where he talks every evening carried the moniker Thunder School. The real thunder rattled him. Ramarayar was afraid of the thunder but to him, showing the fear was a shame. He wrung the end of the wet sarong – Vēshti-, dried his damp beard, and recited, "Om Sakti, Om Sakti, Om Sakti." |
8. Venu Mudaliar sang. Cardinal directions eight shattered Theem tharikida theem tharikida theem tharikida theem Nearby mountains shatter – floods Rage, rage, rage. Thām tharikida Thakkath thathingida thithōm andam (word_ Leaning, leaning, leaning, seized by the ogress Flotsam flying in the wind – Thakkath Thām tharikida , thām tharikida, , thām tharikida, , thām tharikida Chopping and thrashing, lightning- sea Heroic screen endowed with firmament thrashed Heaping and thundering clouds -Koo Koo (onomatopoeic sound) bores into the sky the wind Sattach sada, Sattach sada, Dattā- that is the sound The drums sounding, neighing, and whinnying sky Eight directions thunder and rain Why did you come, brother brave Thakkath thaka, thakkath thaka, thiththōm Venu Mudaliar sand danced. The wind shouts, ha, ha, ha. Venu Mudaliar shouts along with the wind. The thunder laughs. Venu Mudaliar laughs with it. Seeing the jumping of Mudaliar, the rest appear at ease with the waning of the fear. |
| 9. Ramarayar, by reciting 'Om Sakthi' Mantra, eliminated fear in him and said, "Mahā Prakriti demonstrated Vīrarasam (Streak of bravery). Brahmaraya Iyar corrected him, saying, 'Raudra Rasam.' Ramarayar, knowing of his falsity, said, "The two are the same," demonstrating his mindset that the opponent's argument should not go countermanded. The rain was less fierce by this time. Ramarayar, that evening itself, had a bout of the cold and a minor stiffness of the body. Seeing this, Venu Mudaliar lifted him with both hands as if he had a sack, lifted him above the head, and dropped him to the floor. Ramarayar, calling Mudaliar an idiot, said that his body warmed up and no more cold stiffened him. |
| 10. The rain stopped. We returned home. On the way, Venu Mudaliar sings his poem. |
11. The world is shaking, brother- A thousand-head Sesha, like a demon Exultingly jumps – Directions Jump by the hillside. The heaven's celestials Worship with floral bouquets. What a Divinely sight we saw before us. Saw. saw, saw- This Time's drama before our eyes saw Thakkath thakkaththaka thiththōm. The following day, Ramarayar paid the bet in the amount of Rs. 10.00 |
Liberation |
1. It was 4 PM. Because of little weariness, I had a light sleep, woke up rubbing my eyes, and thought of chewing on the pan. That moment, Virapuram Krishnaiyangar came to my house. He was a close friend, honest, bereft of deviousness, and peace-loving. He shouted out on entrance, "A wonder. " 'I asked him, "What was the matter?" He said, "I had a dream last night." I said, "What dream?" |
2. The visiting friend said, "I heard explosive sounds, Dām, Dām, Dām.
There was smoke all around. I was in the grasp and the power of the
cyclone of smoke like a bird. Suddenly below me, an explosion threw me
off a long distance (100 Kādhavazhi = 1,000 miles) away. We cannot
imagine the speed in the awake period."
Kādhavazhi = An Indian league = 10 miles |
| 3. "I discovered last night the meaning of the word (Mind-speed) the speed of the mind. Ade Rama! One push will take the head butt against the sky, and another explosion will take you down to the netherworld. It was like eight directions and sixteen angles, causing me to crash. The sound was no ordinary sound. The sound was like the crashing of the worlds. It lasted for a long time. I cannot accurately calculate how long the dream lasted. The dream appeared to have lasted three-eighths of a Yuga. I do not need any more of the deathly pangs. The breathing was difficult; life was ebbing; never a moment I thought it will end; I did not think I would come out of this alive. |
4. Krishnaiyengar continued, 'After a long time of bouncing and pushing, the force dashed me to the top of a wall. The wall had 'OM Sakthi' written in many places. One such writing was splendorous, below which was cave into which I fell. Initially, I wondered how I could enter such a narrow cave. I saw my whole body snugly fit into the space. Once in the space, no sound or smoke was obvious. My breathing was at ease; I felt a sense of comfort and relief from the ordeal. There ended my dream, the meaning of which I am seeking." I told him, "I am not familiar with the art of interpreting dreams." |
5. Krishnaiyengar did not appear satisfied with the answer and showed
disapprobation of my distrust in dream interpretation.
Krishnaiyengar said, "Don't discount the dreams. They carry meaning. I have seen dreams come true in real life." The saying goes, 'It is not over until the snake wound around the leg bites.' I discovered I needed to give him an answer. I said the following, "That explosion is the state of the world. The Sakthi Mantra is the refuge. The cave is liberation, entrance into which is difficult. If it is not for the explosive divine push, man cannot enter into the realm of Jivan Mukthi (liberation of the individual soul). Once entry occurs, the cave will appear as an expansive palace. All those transiting to Mukthi do not face any danger. The entrants were truly emancipated." Krishnaiyengar, hearing this explanation, was joyous and took leave of me |

In Vedapuram, a Damaru ( = Udukai = hand-held drum) player distinguished himself. He played and excelled in playing 35 different syllables. He never carried a sack on his shoulders. He wore a good white Veshti and a white shirt. His big headgear consisted of a long red cloth encircling his head and appeared as big as half the size of the Nellore rice bag. A large kumkum dot was on his forehead, complementing his ruddy complexion, a broad face, a mustache with sideburns, tall stature, sturdy body, and Hyderabad footwear. Yesterday in the morning, he passed along on my street. He played extensive notes on his Damaru with a great flash, panache, finesse, and flamboyance, as witnessed on a Mrudungam player. He was an intelligent person. |

3) I heard him from the terrace as he sang his song. Realizing the newness of his song, I asked him to stop. I went downstairs, motioned him to come close to me, and asked him, "Where are you from?" He said, "No town or country for a drum player. Born somewhere, grew up elsewhere, wandering all over." |
1. That which is wide or elaborate; விரிவுடையது. 2. Anything of importance or consequence |
4) I told him, "Looking at you, you appear new here. You are not
crazy-looking. Tell me your history and important events in your life.
The Kudukudukāran said, "Swamy, I don't know where I was born. I never knew my mother's face. My father had the same vocation as mine and belonged to the south. My Jāthi is 'Onpathu Kambalathār.' My father took me to Tanjore at age ten. He died of smallpox. Taking up his profession, I wandered to many nations and ended up in Hyderabad. Then I was 20 years old. A white man by the name of Mr. Johnson was a resident. He was a company agent. The company took from India to foreign countries prostitutes, the Johns, pole dancers, rope dancers, legerdemainists, and magicians to European countries and America on a salary. We lived in tents and practiced our art to the public. My fate was I became an employee of this company and traveled to the USA, France, and England. Two years ago, the war started, and the company closed. The company paid us money and sent us back to India. I have accumulated capital for sustenance. Thinking of not giving up my family craft, I travel all over, practicing my art. |
5) When I traveled Europe, I learned the local language, unlike other
performers. I speak English very well. I know different languages and
read many books. I find the local people deficient in many aspects
compared to the Europeans. |
6) Practicing the hereditary craft, I travel all over teaching people morality as my life's purpose. That is my history. I brought from home a gold-laced Sarang (ஜரிகை வேஷ்டி) that I bought for Dipavali. He said, "Swamy, I don't need it." He left me playing on his hand-held drum. He recited his poem . |
7) ''Kudukudu, Kudukudu, Kudukudu, Kudukudu Swamys' boldness is growing, The paunch is shrinking; diligence growing, Fear melting sins fleeting, Sastras growing, caste differences fading The eye opens, justice apparent, The old craziness suddenly going away Heroism dawning, loftiness obtained, Tell me Sakthi, Mountain-dwelling Bhagavathi Dharma waxes, Dharma waxes'' He recited this as we went along down the road. Looking at his back and thinking of god, I offered my obeisance and Namaskar. |
16. Ocean |
One day, I was lying down in a secluded place on the beach sand by the oceanside in Vedapuram. Because I walked a long distance in the daytime and of fatigue, I went to sleep. I am narrating the dream I had during sleep. |
| 2. The dream included a big palace with a beautiful garden, a stream, and a sixteen-year-old girl sitting on a grassy stretch on an island in the middle of the ocean. As soon as she saw me, she ran away into the palace. I followed her path and found on the way a snake, which spread its hood and charged towards and tried to bite me. I ran, and the snake followed me to the oceanside, and I jumped into the ocean. |
The ocean was churning from a cyclone and threw me into a pit of the depth of three palmyra-palm trees. But I survived the hurricane. After a long while, the waves stilled, but I did not stop swimming. |
| 4. I swam towards the shore, but the oceanside was not visible. My hands were hurting; I could not swim; I recited the name of my family deity. At that time, an old man was plying a boat. I begged him to take me aboard because I was all banged up by the cyclone and was aching all over the body. He took me on the boat and sailed towards the vast ocean. The boat ride did not appear to end. I asked the boatman when the ride would end for us to reach the shore because my eyesight dimmed from hunger. |
| 5. The old man gave me rice flour and water. I rested and shut my eyes. (The second sleep in a dream.) Recovering from fatigue, I woke up and saw the oceanside. The old man disembarked me on the shore and began plying his boat back on the ocean. |
6. I questioned him on all kinds of matters. He never answered me at all. I saw his boat until I lost sight of it in the ocean. After a short walk, the palace came into view. The original scene came into focus: The palace, the stream, the beautiful garden, the grassy stretch, and the girl sitting on the grass. Seeing me, she ran back into the palace. I did not follow her. |
| 7. I did not pursue her for fear of facing the snake. I ran to the seashore looking back several times to see whether the snake was chasing me. There was no snake behind me, and I thought of somehow escaping from the island. Another thought occurred that I should exit the island only after finding out who the girl was. Fatigue and hunger struck me, and I was looking around for relief. I walked along the seashore for a long distance and found a hut. |
8. I entered the hut and found Pillaiyar inside. I saw in front of him a leaf with cooked rice, vegetables, Pāyāsam (sweet porridge), and sweets, apart from a pot of water, a bunch of flowers, Sandalwood paste, and other accouterments for Pūja. Because of the severe hunger pangs, I felt compelled to eat the food. But my better judgment was not to eat it. I thought, "What sins did you commit in the past life? What did drive you in the present life to go to this island and suffer like this? Thinking of appeasing your hunger as more urgent and immediate, your desire to eat the food items laid out by a Mahan for worship will only accrue sin. Therefore, you should not do it." I decided not to eat the food. |
9. Hunger was intolerable. I thought of performing the Pūja myself, eating the food after a ritual cleansing bath and worship; I ventured outside looking for a water body. I saw a spring, took my ritual bathing, observed other injunctions, went inside the hut, and found only Pillaiyar. The cooked rice, soft fried doughnut (வடை), water, flowers, Sandalwood were missing. My heartburn worsened. "Pillaiyarē! Once I reach Vedapuri, I will, in your honor, break 33 coconuts and perform Pūja. Will you not help during this difficult time?" |
| 10. At this juncture, my dream met its interruption. Many confusions roiled me; I have no recollection. Later, I found myself floating on the sea waves. It appeared like the Great Deluge. My hands were trembling; my eyes could not see; my consciousness was obtundent. |
11. It appeared that the wind was winnowing the ocean to destroy it drop
by drop; at the same time, ocean waves played ball with my body.
The Death's messengers were playing ball with my body, it appeared. I thought of my family deity and Vināyakar and cried out without self-awareness, "Pillaiyarē! I will offer you 3300 coconuts. Please save me, save me." |
| 12. In a little while, the cyclone stopped. A golden boat of indescribable beauty with a peacock in the bow sailed towards me like a swan bearing Marakkumāran (? Kandhan or Skanda) in the middle of the boat. His glowing face shone like fire. When I saw the boat, I opposed my palms in homage. He commanded the boatman to take me aboard. I did board the boat. |
13. When I got into the boat, all aches and pains of the body and mind
disappeared. I saw my body clothed in royal robes and appeared like a
sixteen-year-old. The king in the boat had a spear in his hand. I opened
my eyes to see myself lying on the beach sand on the oceanside of
Vedapuram. I did not believe myself, rubbed my eyes (in disbelief), took another look, and realized that the island and the cyclone were a dream. The Island Palace girl, who ran away from me twice in the dream, appeared to stand before me. Later, I visualized the king in the boat. I came back home. |
14. I went to the Mauna Swamy in Vedapuram and asked him to interpret my
dream, mainly the girl. The Swamy: "You did not know who rescued you.
That girl had a love for you. Did you notice the spear the prince had
with him on the boat? That spear was the girl in the palace lawn. That
girl cast you in the ocean of misery appeared like a spear, and rescued
you. I learned that Sakthi is the spear and a companion to life and soul. Soon, I decided to offer on an auspicious day 3,300 coconuts to the poorest Pillaiyar in Vedapuram. |

| 1. At noon one day, I sat on the beach sand opposite the waves. Since it was a cloudy day, the sand was not hot. Just like the doubts hide the Jñāṇa, the clouds blocked the sunlight. The waves crashed before me, and a cool wind was blowing from the north-east. |
| 2. Blinding sunshine fell on the ocean and caused slight photophobia. Some distance away, a foreign commercial vessel stood still in the waters. I was thinking about the sea and its waves. Adadā, The ocean constantly and with no rest, makes the sound for so many Yugas. What a fate! Fate, moving this ocean, has greater power than the ocean. |
| 3. Fate makes millions of worlds spin. The atoms obey fate. Men, gods, Asuras, the minds of millions of living things and their deeds, the sun, the clouds obey the dictates of fate or destiny. As I was deep in my thought, a Yogi came near me. |
4. I told him, "I am thinking about fate (destiny). The Yogi: 'Whose?"
I said, "Of my destiny, your, this ocean, the world." The seaside Yogi: Brother! Destiny is the controlling entity of you, the ocean, and the world. I have no destiny. Therefore, do not include me in your category." "Why so?" The Yogi loudly sang the poetry above the sound of the ocean in a beautiful manner. The poem by Arunagirinathar was sung by the Yogi. Translation from Tamil to English by Ramachander The field filled orchards of Thiruchendur were destroyed by the Chel fishes in tanks, The mind of tender creeper like maidens were destroyed because they wished for, The honey dripping garlands of Kadamba flowers which were worn by the Lord, The sea, the Krouncha mountain, and Soorapadma were destroyed by his Vel, And the fate writings on my head were destroyed by the touch of the feet of the Lord. 40 |
5. Though I read Kandhar-alangaram several times, the Yogi's singing made it appear new, causing goosebumps on me. The first two lines, he sang sitting, and the third one, standing up. His eyes and face brightened, and the tempo heightened. When he said, 'By the touch of the spear, the sea perished, he pointed the sea with his index finger. To me, the sea appeared quivering. By God's spear, the ocean broke, and the mountain became powdery. Sūrapadman shattered. That Murugan's holy feet touched my coiffure, and I realized liberation. The liberated (being) is the bonded beast. |
சாலையில் ஏறும்போது, கடற்புறத்திலிருந்து சிங்கத்தின் ஒலி போலே, 'விடுதலை;
6. As he talked, the rains poured, and I got up to leave for home. The Yogi went to the sea to bathe in its waves. As I crossed over from the sand to the road, like a roaring lion's sound, ' Freedom, freedom,' boomed at a distance |

| 1. Vedapuram had a Siva temple, the premier deity of which was God Subramaniya. The servitors and devotees performed the ritual of installing the gem-laden spear on the past Monday evening. Those morning ritual ablutions of all kinds took place, including Sandal paste application to the deity's idol. That was when I arrived at the temple's sanctum. My friend Brahmaraya Aiyar came earlier and received Darsan of the deity. 1 |
| 2. Brahmaraya Aiyar: "Emperuman (Subramaniya Swamy) takes the sandalwood paste Abhishekam to cool down the heat from the killing of Surapadman. A crazy-looking woman danced and sang Kandhar Shashti Kavacam in the sanctum. After witnessing the waving of the lights, Aiyer and I sat inside the Mandapam adjoining the sacred pond. 2 |
மற்ற ஏழும் ஏறக்குறைய கிருஷ்ணார்ப்பணம் dedicating them to Sri Krishna என்று பலவிதமாகப் பேசினார். | 3. Aiyar questioned me about the freedom of India from British rule. We talked about the dance. In music, nowadays, only two Rasas are in vogue, and the other seven are out of favor. Likewise, in dance, Sōkam and Singāram are in popularity, and the other seven are dedications to Krishna (= not in vogue). 3 |
4. Dance was a highly regarded work in ancient times by the kings, the
Bakthas, Kannan (on the head of the snake), and Nataraja (in the hall of
Wisdom). Now only, Dāsis do it in our nation. Sastras tell that Ganapathy, Murugan, and Sakthi individually had dance dramas. Overcoming trouble is noteworthy. Removal of trouble naturally leads to dance and singing. The pleasures enjoyed by ancients kings and greatness are absent nowadays. On attainment of becoming a Rajayogi, dancing as the divine art comes to him naturally. 4 |
As Brahmarayar talked, The Dharma Kartha Virappa Mudaliyar, a hero with many accomplishments, joined us. His son earned accolades and the title of hero in the military. With Mudaliyar coming into the mix, the direction of the conversation changed. A temple worker came in with many yellow papers and handed one piece to each person. It was a temple invitation to the people to attend the Periyapalayam Matathipathi's lecture that evening. 5 |
6. The invitation included a text with the last two sentences: On the
feathers riding Kandhan, effulgent hand holding the victory garland. Our
work is to worship the spear decorated with the victory garland.
(Kandhan, riding the peacock, holds the spear that wears the victory garland. Our work is to worship the spear. Brahmarayar reading these two lines of poetry, commented, "Good poem." Virappa Mudaliyar gave the following lecture. ''Hear me Kalidasare & Bramaraya Aiyare! The lazy ones, advocating that we are here on the earth only to praise God, are wasting their and our lives. Action is essential; inaction is sin. God gave us five motor organs and intellect to work and earn goodness for ourselves and others by hard work. Inact ion and laziness as joy will bring destruction for them. God-talk is a waste. The worker lives, and the lazy one will die." 6 |
7. Brama Aiyar said, "The lazy one, citing God as the goal, supports his
laziness. It may be true. It is a crime to blame God-believing people
with inaction as sluggards. Truth is not like that. Nature, by its
strength and policy, conducts the activities of men. It is an undeniable
truth. The person who realizes this is a Jñāṉi. A sage does not indulge
in laziness because he knows that he is not responsible for his acts,
but only God is responsible for his acts. Their work is like that of
fire. Since they are full of ecstasy, they beget great powers, with
which their acts bring immense and incalculable benefits to the world.
Bhagavan says in Gita, "God does all acts. He who thinks he does the act
is an ignoramus. One should perform one's Dharma with no forethought,
like Agni." Therefore, O Arjuna! Below is the poem, difficult to translate. Take the bow in your hand 1 Take the bow- That 2 The mediocre crowd, render into dust 3 Don't stand fainthearted ― mind 4 Don't stand fainthearted ― merely 5 Babble not female Wisdom, utter not! 6 Prevailing evil ― always 7 Prevailing evil ― it 8 Will not die Will not diminish 9 Grief none ― severe 10 Grief none ― in it 11 Joy none No future births! 12 The army will touch not ― That (the soul) 13 The army will touch not ― Fire (will not burn the soul) 14 Burn not Water will not wet (the soul) 15 Doing, debt ―righteousness 16 Doing, debt ― in it 17 Coming fruits think not 18 Take the bow 19 So said Bhagavan (Krishna to Arjuna on the battlefield). "Therefore, the action does not afflict Bhagavan. But action is ever-present, given by God. Krita Yoga comes into being because of the action done by the truly devoted people. When they reject all acts, Bhagavan uses them as instruments and do great acts." Brahma Aiyar finished talking. (7) |
| 8. Virappa Mudaliyar looked at me and said, "What is your opinion?" I said, "For me, there is no act. Mentioning the name of Sakthi, I stand inactive. All acts of mine proceed from Sakthi, which is her desire and not mine." 8 |
9. At that time, a messenger told us that Dandapani Pujai and waving of lights were in progress. We all got up and went for Darsan. The meeting ended. 9 |
